Žaliasis taškas was founded in December, 2002, by 35 known Lithuanian and foreign companies.

The shareholders are made by 26 fillers and importers, 6 packaging producers, 3 waste management companies and recyclers.

On March 3, 2003 Žaliasis taškas has signed a Provisional Principal Licence Agreement with Pro Europe s.p.r.l. and obtained exclusivity rights for the Green Dot trademark up on the territory of Lithuania.

Žaliasis taškas decision making bodies include Shareholders and the Board consisting of 9 representatives.
The company currently employs 4 people.
