MMSM: The Manitoba Waste Reduction and Prevention (WRAP) Act, 2008 requires companies who are designated as "Stewards" of residential packaging and printed paper to share in funding up to 80% of the net cost of Manitoba's municipal waste reduction and preventions programs.

MMSM operates in accordance with the Packaging and Printed Paper Stewardship Regulation under the WRAP Act.

CBCRA: CBCRA's Program Plan under the Manitoba Packaging and Printed Paper Stewardship Regulation (195/2008) was approved August 31, 2011. The Program Plan provides information on the financial and reporting requirements for obligated beverage stewards and details how funds submitted to CBCRA are used to fund and recover beverage containers in both residential and away-from-home channels.
